Breathwork is a potent tool for deepening our awareness, opening to higher states of consciousness and releasing stagnating energies. It is a safe and accessible way to do much the same work that is done through psychedelic therapies and shamanic practices.

While breathwork on its own helps you to connect with the deeper psyche, its transformative power is multiplied when practiced in conjunction with deep personal image work.

Combining elements from a variety of breathwork schools, UnWeaver’s Nest classes and sessions are tailored to work with specific archetypal themes and personal needs. Sessions incorporate especially designed music, visualisation, rhythmic breathing, breath-holds, vocalising, energy locks, movement and art-making to facilitate experiences of bliss, connection, emotional release and creative insight.

What is SOMA Breathwork?

SOMA combines rhythmic breath with extended breath-holds to enhance and re-align a variety of natural processes in the body and mind.

Rhythmic breathing can energise or calm the nervous system depending on pattern and tempo. It is often used to awaken psychological insight adn deeper states of consciousness. This is what most breathwork modalities offer. Intermittent Hypoxia - the breath-holds - deepen the experience and open incredible opportunities for natural healing. It balances the oxidative stress that can arise from over-breathing. It also takes the meditation into much deeper level as Gamma brainwaves are activated. SOMA thus combines potent physiological healing with consciousness expansion to unweave patterns of distress and stuckness.

Potential benefits of Intermittent Hypoxia at the correct dose:
