The UnWeaver's Nest
ELZANNE ROOS –IMAGINAL THERAPIST
“Our dreams recover what the world forgets.”
- James Hillman, Animal Presences
THE WAY BACK HOME
In a time of great change...
when it feels like the world is falling apart...
when relationships are strained ...
when sensuality disappears from our lives...
when resources dry up...
when powerlessness, pain and fear overwhelm us...
...it is time to ask:
"Where is my soul, and what does it want for my life?"
The UnWeaver's Nest is a place to unfold, undo and unlearn, in order to reroute, recalibrate and return to who you really are. This is the start of a path of heart, imagination and healing. The only way to navigate the unknown.
Elzanne Roos has been "holding spaces" as a teacher, facilitator and therapist for close to two decades.
Her training followed an unconventional route, closer to the path of older traditions, with an intensive apprenticeship to teachers of a lineage. This lineage of image workers traces back to the pre-Socratics and early European shamanic schools, through its rediscovery by scholars such as Henry Corbin and C.G. Jung, and into the more recent reanimation and transmission of these teachings by James Hillman and the Post-Jungian school.
While exercising her skills as a writer, facilitator and learning experience designer in the business world, Elzanne completed her apprenticeship as an Imaginal Therapist and breathwork facilitator, as well as master's level academic studies in Archetypal Psychology at the Tamboo Academy in Knysna, South Africa.
She consults with clients from around the world, online and in-person, hosts regular breathwork gatherings and assists as a teacher at the Tamboo Academy. She also regularly opens spaces for emerging images around climate change and world concerns. She is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
